Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Base360.ai is building an AI operating system for short‑term rental operators. As a Senior Software Engineer you will design, develop and scale the core platform that powers reservations, pricing, payments, guest communication and property operations.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and scale a cloud‑native platform that supports multiple property‑management businesses.
• Build customer‑facing products, automation engines, AI‑powered workflows and integrations with Airbnb, Stripe, Twilio, OpenAI and other partners.
• Design API‑first services that connect internal modules, booking channels and third‑party providers.
• Develop event‑driven workflows that automate cleaning schedules, check‑in instructions and owner statements.
• Deploy and maintain reliable serverless infrastructure on AWS.
• Solve complex operational problems such as real‑time reservation sync, dynamic pricing intelligence and smart‑lock access.

Required profile

• Strong experience building and owning production‑grade software systems.
• Proven ability to work independently, make sound technical decisions and balance speed with reliability.
• Deep understanding of APIs, distributed systems and cloud architecture.
• Curiosity about AI, automation and operational efficiency.
