Information Technology Auditor

About the role

Golomt Bank, a leading bank in Mongolia founded in 1995 and headquartered in Ulaanbaatar, is hiring a full-time, on-site Information Technology Auditor based in Bayangol. The auditor assesses the effectiveness of IT controls, systems and processes, ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute IT audit engagements
• Perform risk assessments and evaluate information security measures
• Document audit findings and recommendations
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders and prepare clear audit reports
• Follow up on remediation actions to strengthen the bank's technology environment
• Support continuous improvement in IT governance, cybersecurity and operational resilience

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting or a related field
• Ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly and work with cross-functional teams
• High ethical standards, attention to detail and commitment to continuous learning
• Familiarity with banking operations, digital banking platforms and regulatory requirements is an advantage

Required skills

• Strong IT audit and IT controls skills, with experience planning and conducting technology-focused audits
• Analytical skills and knowledge of IT concepts related to banking systems and infrastructure
• Knowledge of information security principles, frameworks and best practices, including risk management and compliance
• Certifications such as CISA, CISSP or equivalent (completed or in progress) are beneficial
