Project Engineer – Electrical

About the role

Scatec is seeking a Project Engineer – Electrical to support the delivery of utility‑scale renewable energy projects. The role involves working closely with the Lead Engineer to ensure technical and contractual requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Support engineering activities during development, design and execution phases of utility‑scale renewable projects.
• Conduct technical assessments, due‑diligence reviews and design evaluations to identify risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with suppliers, contractors, consultants, utilities and other stakeholders to meet technical requirements.
• Review electrical designs, specifications, engineering documentation and contractor proposals for compliance.
• Provide on‑site engineering support, manage technical queries, review design changes and support quality‑control activities during construction.
• Monitor installation, testing and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and successful delivery.
• Coordinate with project teams and contractors to ensure accurate implementation of designs and proper documentation management.
• Promote engineering best practices and adherence to Scatec standards throughout the project lifecycle.
