Principal Advisor Asset Management

About the role

Oyu Tolgoi is seeking a Principal Advisor Asset Management to join the Underground Mining Operations team. This senior position will coach and mentor national leaders, driving best‑in‑class asset management practices across a large, complex underground copper‑gold mine.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to asset management teams and national leaders.
• Develop and implement asset management fundamentals to improve reliability and performance.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and ensure alignment with corporate standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support safe and efficient underground mining operations.
• Monitor asset health, lifecycle, and cost effectiveness, reporting insights to senior management.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in asset management within large, complex underground mining environments.
• Proven track record of coaching senior leaders and driving cultural change.
• Strong understanding of mining operations, safety standards, and reliability engineering.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
