Field DME Specialist-1

About the role

World Vision, a global humanitarian organisation, is seeking a Field DME Specialist to support monitoring, evaluation and data management activities for programmes in Mongolia. The role will contribute to designing M&E frameworks, collecting high‑quality data and producing visual dashboards for decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate root‑cause analysis and develop pathways of change, documenting outcomes for programmes.
• Develop and adapt M&E plans and tools in collaboration with project managers and technical specialists.
• Ensure data collection forms capture sex, age and vulnerability markers and that data quality procedures are followed.
• Verify monitoring data for completeness, coherence and accuracy across all programme areas.
• Conduct regular field visits to assess project effectiveness and provide on‑site support.
• Maintain and update monitoring dashboards and produce data visualisations using Power BI.
• Assist in preparing case studies, lessons learned and support workshops and stakeholder events.

Required profile

• Proven experience in monitoring, evaluation and data management within humanitarian or development projects.
• Ability to design and test data collection tools and ensure ethical data handling.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on data quality and reporting.
• Willingness to travel to field locations for visits and capacity‑building activities.
