Deputy Director / Head of Special Assets Department

About the role

The Deputy Director / Head of Special Assets Department is a full‑time, on‑site leadership position responsible for overseeing the management and optimisation of special assets across PC Mall’s retail network in Mongolia. The role focuses on under‑performing stores, strategic locations and high‑potential properties, driving recovery, growth and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze store performance and develop recovery or improvement plans for under‑performing locations.
• Manage asset reallocation, disposal strategies and coordinate with operations, finance, real‑estate and franchise teams.
• Lead a team to conduct financial and operational assessments, mitigate asset‑related risks and prepare regular reports for senior management.
• Contribute to long‑term asset strategy, support expansion decisions and ensure compliance with corporate standards and local regulations.

Required profile

• Strong leadership experience in asset management, retail operations or corporate strategy, with a proven record of turning around complex business units.
• Advanced analytical and financial expertise, including performance analysis, budgeting, forecasting and ROI assessment for store networks or property portfolios.
• Project‑management experience and ability to collaborate across multiple functions and stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Management or related field; MBA or master’s degree is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Mongolian; English and/or Korean proficiency is an advantage.
